Donald McPhail & Ann McCallum are Jane McPhail's Grandparents. They spent the better part of the lives farming the land in the Hamlet of Black Crofts in Ardchattan. As you cross the bridge into North Connel, turn right and you will, in short order, reach the Black Crofts.
I would expect that with some investigation of the local parish churches in Argyll one would be able to locate the Gravemarkers from other Carmichaels & McPhails. Pictures of them would be a welcome addition to this page. Does anyone know the location of the graves of Duncan & Jane Carmichael(McPhail)? Possibly in Sighthill?

Do you know Duncan & Jane Carmichael(McPhail) death dates?
On familySearch they have Script books and daily internment books which are searchable.

I did a quick search and located a Jane Carmichael death 26 Oct 1930
(age 73), husband Duncan, internment date 28th Oct, place of death Duke Street, Hospital. Internment Sighthill, Lair No 76, Class No:7, depth 7

Duncan and Jane Carmichael did they have a son named Dugald?
If they did then this would confirm internments:
